Box Setup in the G1000: BARF

There are a lot of things to check in the G1000 when you get in. Fortunately, there’s an easy way to remember:
Boxes: check the LRU status and ensure you’re not missing anything important.
Augmentation: check your WAAS/SBAS
RAIM: check satellite count to ensure coverage
Flight Plans: enter your main and secondary flight plans.
